Seiwakai Uruguay News

On May 24, the Kenbukai Uruguay 2026 National Tournament, organized by OFKU, was held at Platense Patín Club, bringing together great athletes in a high-level event.

Seiwakai Uruguay once again stood out in the competition, with excellent performances by its three representatives. Candela, Julieta and Aryam showed impeccable technique, unshakable courage and an admirable warrior spirit in every fight, earning prominent places among the top spots on the podium.

The great feat of the day belonged to Aryam, who, in an extraordinary display of grit and determination, faced four extremely tough fights, three of them against heavyweights, and ended his participation in historic fashion, impressively knocking out two opponents.

"Karate is not measured by the strength of the body, but by the greatness of the spirit," said Shihan Gerardo.

Congratulations to the athletes who represented Seiwakai with enormous courage and determination, faithfully following the principles that govern our Seiwakai Karate: never retreat in the face of difficulties and always follow this path with discipline, honor and courage.

Congratulations also to all of Seiwakai Uruguay and, in particular, to Shihan Gerardo Rojas, for brilliantly leading the whole team and for carrying on the teachings of our Master Kancho Ademir da Costa.

Thank you all for representing our values with such dignity and for reminding us that, with discipline and courage, no opponent is big enough.
